Plus, I know there are so many blogs out there to read, and I only want to blog about things that are fun and encouraging, so that I'm not wasting your time when you come visit.
Along these lines, dear Kim gave me a little pep talk last week, and I think we came up with a solution for bringing back weekly Sew & Tell. More details to come. THIS Friday! So get your projects and posts ready to link up.
I have been sewing quite a bit actually. It's amazing when you don't blog as much you can get a lot more things finished! I wanted to share with you today what I chose for my month of my quilt bee, BeeTweet. My month was August and I have had some Christmas prints laying around~ I actually won them in a giveaway a couple of years ago.
I sent my group this inspiration mosaic for what I wanted. I was thinking, whimsical and Christmas (obviously).
I was late (of course) sending my fabric out and they are starting to trickle back in. These are the 3 I've gotten so far, and I'm so excited to get the rest!
I'm thinking of a square in square type of sashing. I hope it will be as cute in my head...
See you soon! Sew & Tell on Friday!!

GoOf to hear from you again!! What you are choosing is infinitely more important! God hs gifted us with families, and we should enjoy them to the fullest! Blogging is just icing, family is the buffet!!!
YAY! I've missed you :) I'm loving your inspiration pics..and the blocks coming in are just too cute! I also think the square in a square sounds perfect, Can't wait to see it come together!
I'm so relieved that you're still planning on doing Sew & Tell - and that it may be weekly again! I'm finally getting back into the swing of sewing, as well, after our big move; and I, too, have done less blogging.
Don't be too hard on yourself, though. When my children were those ages, I did very little crafting/sewing for a window of time. I'd steal moments when I could, but it was rare.
Our homeschool year is in full swing, but I only have three now - two middle schoolers and one high schoolers. So, I have lots of free time since they're big kids! It helps that the sewing room is right next to the school room. (Sneaky, I know...)
Blah. Blah. Blah. Glad you're back! Your Christmas ideas look so beautiful and inspiring!
LOVE the Christmas blocks!!!!! Glad to have you back, you have been MISSED!!!!!!!
Welcome back, but fret not, we all go through quiet patches, and people aren't often that diligent about cleaning up their feeds on a regular basis, so they may not notice ;o)
Love your bee blocks :o)
Well now I wish I would have made you a wreath or something other than a tree. Are you going to get anything besides trees?
Oh I understand! Summer is a busy time for me too. And you do get more done when you don't blog as much. Hopefully I can join you in the sew and tell some this time.
The blocks you have received so far are really fun! Glad you are back and looking forward to more Sew and Tell Friday.
Oh Hi :) Good to see I'm not the only one who has been planning for Christmas for months now. Can't wait to see your quilt!
OOOH, what fun! I hope someone made you a block with applique vintage Christmas lights. I love that one for some reason.
