happy valentine's day!

One of these years I'm going to make a heart quilt.  I just love this one:
Be my Valentine
found on Flickr

and then there's this one that I saw last year at American Quilting in Utah:

Maybe next year.  Until then enjoy this day loving those you love!

I saw your mom tonight at her Quilt Guild! So I'm stopping in and to say hi! Wish you could have been there it was a fun night, and your mom got a sneak peek of what's coming up next with my fabric lines. :)

You are too sweet, Shari! I was jealous that I couldn't go. I live too far away:(. I'm sure your next line is going to be as cute as the others. Thanks for coming by!

I like the second heart quilt you featured as the hearts aren't quite perfect ---- it has a rustic, homespun feel to it even though the fabrics are anything but. You got me thinking about hearts after reading this post and I came across this heart mini quilt by Kelly at Pinkadot Quilts: http://pinkadotquilts.blogspot.com/2011/02/sujatas-challenge.html. The free-form hearts look like such fun!
