And I have no time to sew with it because of all the other lovely projects I have in the queue. But if I WON it, now, that would be okay, right? AND YOU CAN BUY THEM!! Starting a fund right now.Do any of you have any motivation techniques to get you going again? I haven't sewn on my machine since the move. I have lots of projects just waiting to get going, but I can't seem to make myself start cutting. I hate those first cuts. I don't like the pinning and measuring for fear of making a mistake. Oh the agony! I need help.

I heart Sandi too and i really like this new version of meadowsweet - can't wait to see it in person. Pinning, you don't like pinning? I never pin, pattern weights and rotary cutter all the way baby! ;)
I need some motivation, too. I keep pulling fabric out and then putting it away again. I think my problem is that I have two quilts pieced and ready to go but I am afraid to actually quilt them.

Oh my gosh... those are cute shoes! You are my my motivation and all of those other bloggy quilters. Sometimes when I get blocked I go to flickr and let myself get sucked into a search that makes me run to my machine! :)

Amy, got to check out those shoes!!! The only thing is I usually wear flip flops ;-) I sewed for the first time since my move yesterday so I know how you are feeling...except I don't have a newborn to take care of...just teenagers and a pre-teen ;-) You'll get back in the swing of things soon I'm sure.
...the best way to get started? buy a new fabric bundle of fabric that you love :-)
