keeping you snowbound, to feel extra productive! We've been getting a lot of snow this year. It's nice when I don't feel like I have to go anywhere! I put dinner in the crockpot and had the rest of the day to do whatever I wanted!
So I got a little cutting done:
Really, why do I wait so long, it took me less than 30 minutes to iron this up again and stitch up. I forget how tricky rayon is to work with, though.
and this little guy turned 2 on Sunday!
That cake was delicious! Duncan Hines Lemon (made with milk instead of water), lemon curd filling, homemade cream cheese icing. Mmmmmm.
What do you do all day when you are forced to stay at home?

Happy Bday to your son, his cake looks yummy! Can"t wait to see what you have planned for that fabric you have cut :)
We are looking forward to some of this over the weekend!! Yay!! When it comes, we drink hot coffee, watch netficks, drink hot chocolate, cuddle under quilts, drink hot tea, and play board games. Love my crock pot too!!
Blessings (and warmth),
KT
Happy birthday! I pretty much do the same as you! I try really had to be productive when I am stuck at home.... which is like every day! :)
HE IS SO CUTE!!!! He is going to get a huge kick out of his Jim Carrey haircut when he gets older. :)
Happy Birthday to the little guy!!! What a cutie....glad you got some sewing done.
happy birthday to your boy!
I have been staying home a lot lately due to family budget tightness. Things I do: read, sew, yoga, go online, talk on the phone :).
I go crazy with my 4 kids letting out all their energy around me! I shoveled the driveway, and worked on the computer. YAWN!
Happy birthday! Our 2 1/2 year old grandson stays with us every other weekend, and we have spent many happy days inside this winter reading books, playing with cars, building with Lego and drawing. When he gets bored, we open up some of my boxes with buttons or notions; that keeps him occupied for a while. He is a very happy kid too, so the days fly by.
I LOVE being able to stay home for a day (although it's never because of snow these days!). I usually dye outside for awhile, with the kids playing (or swimming in the pool when it's warm, which it SO OFTEN is!) and then we're in, I'm upstairs sewing and the boys are happy doing what they do - Wii, new adventure games, reading books, playing computer games, baking cookies....
Sigh...wish I got stuck at home more!
ANd happy day to your little one!
I am hoping to power through quite a few projects while I am homebound from the snow! Good luck on your projects!
