Silicone baking cups! I bought them with the intent to make pincushions. I thought to myself, "Self, you still haven't made anything for tomorrow's sew & tell - you could whip one of these up!"
So I did. And only finished 15 minutes ago. If I had a more cooperative glue gun (or better glue gun skills) it would have been super quick.
There you can see the top a little better. That's one of Sandi Henderson's Farmer's Market prints. Love it! I'm going to have to make myself one now - this one is going to a friend for her birthday.
If you are new here to sew & tell, here are the few short rules:
1. Link to a post about a finish you had this week (don't just link to your blog, please!)
2. Link back to this post so more peeps can join in the fun! If it is a post from earlier in the week, just please add a note about sew & tell . Now that we have a button this is super easy - you can just cut and paste the html from over there on the right sidebar!

Very cute and delicious. Great way to use up scraps, I think. Yes?
cute pin cushion! Love glue gun projects - but I haven't used one in a long time!!
AMY! I'm so sorry. I linked the wrong post. So link #7 could be deleted. It was from two weeks ago. I don't think I can do that. I relinked to the right post on #11. I'm so sorry. Let's just say I'm not completely up to date with all this techno stuff!
Love your cupcake pin cushion it is so cute! We were on the same wave length this week - I made a pin cushion as well!
your pincushion is adorable!!
Adorable, Amy! What a fun, quick project. And yes, the rick-rack is the perfect touch. ;o)
Thanks for hosting Sew & Tell Friday. This is my first time joining in, and I look forward to seeing everyone's projects!
So cute! Just so you, ahem, know . . . I have been in the market for a pincushion. I just use the original box.
This is adorable...I've been wanting to make one as a gift and this would be perfect.
Thanks for doing this every week!

i can not believe how many of us made pincushions this week...we must have all been on the same wavelength or all having the same kind of week. Yours are adorable...i love the fabric you chose.
I did it!!!
These pincushions are adorable!
cute pin cushion Amy! Love the colors. And I agree. Ric-rac good.
Oh my gosh I love this! I should make some for my quilting-happy mother-in-law and friend! Do you need a sewing machine at all? It looks like you pretty much used fabric, stuffing, and embellishment with a glue gun, but I'm sure there's more to it....
Great cupcake, you clever thing! Deliciously pretty!
Your cupcakes look yummy enough to eat - and no sugar!
Um....I love that I was the lucky birthday girl of the adorable pincushion (that I have already put to work) and an adorable group of people who made my day sooo perfect. Your the best!
