finally a block

I had a few battles with this - mostly because I haven't done many of these and I'm the planner type and these are definitely not planner-type blocks.  But it's okay.  I think I actually like it!  I figure I can get one a day done for the next couple weeks and have enough for the top!

I'm pretty sure i need to sash this in white too.  For brightness' sake!

Remember sew & tell tomorrow! (I guess I have to get something done since I already showed you the block.....)

Hi, Amy! Your block is very cute! I actually made 5 at a time and it worked really well for me. Helped me feel that I was really making progress. Just picked out different center fabrics and five different logs, stacking them so that I could pick up a set at a time. Chain sewed 5, pressed 5, cut 5, then picked the next logs. Either way, I think they are pretty fun to make.

You fabrics are beautiful. Gonna try the Sew and Tell tomorrow. We'll see if I can figure out how to link/post/button thing plus actually finish a project to show.

I LOVE IT! What on earth is that second fabulous fabric in? And obviously I am obsessed with the center piece.
