I did finally get my strips cut for my wonky log cabins for the quilt-along.
I tried to get a nice artistic shot of them all laid out - but this is the only one I got before the wind blew them all over and I didn't have time to do it again! You can see a better picture of all my fabrics here.
I think I'm going to do the wonky squares-in-squares log cabins. Quilt Dad wrote us a great tutorial here.
I'm feeling like I have one too many projects going on right now. Not to mention the friendship bag I have to get done for the swap! I think that will be my sew & tell for Friday. What are you working on for Friday?
I would LOVE to have one of my big quilts ready for the Blogger's Quilt Festival that Amy is hosting! Are you all ready? It's in just a couple weeks! Click on the button for more information!

Oooohhhhh...I can not wait to see your finished projects.
I love the square in a square quilts - I've been a bit obsessed with those in my bee blocks lately :) Have fun! Can't wait to see more of what you are working on!
And THANK YOU for posting a link :)
I love the fabrics you chose. Beautiful and bright.
I am hoping to join your Sew and Tell Friday this week. Not sure what I will share as I am in the middle of quite a few projects but none are close to completion.
After much deliberation (remember I am new to this blogworld), I took the plunge and "signed up" for the Blogger's Quilt Festival. I think I know which quilt to share. I even added the button to my page. I was quite impressed with myself for figuring that out ;-))
All the colors are beautiful! I have been wanting to make a friendship bag, I can't wait to see how yours turns out.
I have been sewing all day and have two things for the Friday Sew -n- Tell, I just have to pick which one I want to write about tonight and which one to write about for Friday!
I hope the rest of your week is productive!
i am hoping to get one of my quilt tops that has been sitting around for far too long done for friday...i am loving sew and tell!!! i am really looking forward to the quilt festival. not sure what i am going to use but i am excited
Hey, I just commented on these strips on flickr and didn't realize it was you. These are gorgeous fabrics. Your quilt is going to be just beautiful!

The fabric is gorgeous and the visual of you picking them all up from the wind made me smile! It's been windy here as well. Wonky log cabins are a must!
I'm working on a new block I think I designed...haven't seen it anywhere else. Posted about it on my blog. Fun, small, sweet. I'd like to have the mini quilt made of four of them done for Friday. Then, it becomes a candidate for October's STUD group. ???? Who knows.
BTB, it's Wednesday and I'm never ahead! LOL
I have done some little projects, like the key fobs and such! simple but I know a few people in my life that want them so that is what I am working on!
